R Report is a free retail reporting companion app for existing Raintech POS customers. It helps authorized shop owners and staff view sales, stock, and related business reports for shops already set up in Raintech POS desktop software.

This app does not create user accounts, process payments, offer subscriptions, or sell digital content. Shop setup and billing are handled outside the app through Raintech POS desktop software and direct B2B sales channels.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may process the following:

• Shop identifiers — a Shop ID you enter or scan to link an existing Raintech POS shop on your device. This is stored locally on your device and is not account registration.
• Business and transaction data — including sales summaries, stock/product information, payment-method totals, and related report figures stored in our connected backend for linked shops.
• App preferences — settings you choose in the app (for example dashboard display preferences), stored locally on your device.
• Camera data — the app requests camera permission to scan barcodes/QR codes containing Shop IDs. Camera access is used only while you use that feature. We do not use the camera to collect photos for advertising.
• Technical / service data — information needed to operate cloud sync and app connectivity through our service providers (see below).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

3. How we use information

• To provide retail reports, stock views, and related app features
• To sync and display business data for a linked shop on your device
• To remember your in-app settings on your device
• To support barcode/QR scanning features
• To respond to support and data-deletion requests
• To maintain security, reliability, and proper operation of the app

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Payments and subscriptions

R Report is free to download and use. The app does not include in-app purchases, subscriptions, payment processing, or links to external checkout pages. Any fees for Raintech POS software or related business services are handled entirely outside this app.

5. How we share information

We may share data only as needed to operate the app:

• Google Firebase — the app uses Firebase services (including Firebase Realtime Database / Firebase Core) to store and sync report and business data required for app functionality.
• Service providers — trusted providers who help us host, operate, or support the app, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements — if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

We do not share user data with third parties for their independent advertising purposes.

6. Data storage and security

Business/report data is stored and synced using cloud infrastructure provided by Google Firebase. Linked Shop IDs and app preference settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We retain business and shop-related data for as long as needed to provide the app and related services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Local Shop ID links and preference data remain on your device until you remove them in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

8. Your choices and data deletion

You may:

• Remove a linked shop from the app at any time
• Revoke camera permission in your device settings
• Clear local app data from your device settings
• Uninstall the app at any time

To request deletion of shop-related or personal information associated with R Report, email info@raintechpos.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request – R Report” and include your shop name, Shop ID, and contact number. We will process verified requests within a reasonable period, subject to any data we must retain for legal or legitimate business purposes.

9. Permissions

• Camera — barcode/QR scanning to link an existing shop
• Internet — to connect to Firebase and load/sync reports

10. Children’s privacy

R Report is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
